Transfr Pre-Employment Program - Construction Laborer

The program trainee has completed all modules, simulations, assessments and knowledge checks included in the Construction Laborer Pre-Employment Program. Over the course of 20 hours, the trainee has gained competencies by successfully passing assessments for the following areas as recognized by their micro-credentials: Workplace Safety Hand Tools Power Tools Additionally, the trainee has completed modules on identifying the role of a construction laborer, identifying key parts of a well-prepared construction laborer, and identifying important interview techniques for a construction laborer role.

The comprehensive, task-based simulations and elearning content covers core knowledge and skills around identifying, learning the use of, and operating safely; common power tools, saws, and grinders. Competencies are earned through iterative practice and performance evaluation within VR simulations and elearning assessments. Participants demonstrate learning over a 3.5-hour (take this out and use pilot to identify time it took) period by achieving a minimum assessment score of 80%.

The comprehensive, task-based simulations and elearning content covers core knowledge and skills around identifying and learning the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safe lifting, and accident and injury awareness common to the role of a Construction Laborer. Competencies are earned through iterative practice and performance evaluation within VR simulations and elearning assessments. Participants demonstrate learning over a 5.25-hour period by achieving a minimum assessment score of 80%.

The comprehensive, task-based simulations and elearning content covers core knowledge and skills around identifying, learning the use of, and operating safely; common hand tools, hand saws, and hack saws. Competencies are earned through iterative practice and performance evaluation within VR simulations and elearning assessments. Participants demonstrate learning over a 2.75-hour period by achieving a minimum assessment score of 80%.
